Cooperation offers for Indian Partners:
We are looking for Indian partners who are interested to cooperate in projects and workshops in the field of water supply, water recycling or wastewater disposal and treatment. Our target groups are:
- Communal and industrial system operators who are looking for possibilities to improve their systems.
- R&D-institutes who are interested in active project-participation based on a cooperation that brings know-how increase for all participants.
- Authorities which would like to support sustainable projects with their knowledge of the general conditions in India or which want to benefit from comparisons between the Indian and German situations.
- Engineering offices which know the market and the needs in India and which want to cooperate in practical projects.

Current Cooperations of the German Partners:
- Pofessor Günthert (University of Armed Forces) attends in 2007 and 2008 as a scientific tutor at 2 Delegations of the Bavarian Environment Ministry to India. The Delegation was also attended by a representative of the German Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ).
- Collaboration in the fields of prevention of water pollution and wastewater disposal, as well as collaboration between the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) and the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU) was decided. The result was a 12-point plan, including a development strategy for maintenance of water and wastewater networks (University of Armed Forces).

- Collaboration in R&D project (German Federal Environmental Foundation): market analysis (tandler.com).
- Valuable contacts to numerous Municipalities, Engineering Firms, Universities (e.g. Anna University) and the Public Health Association in Hyderabad and Chennai (tandler.com, Engineering Consultants Scheer).
- BayIND has been set-up by the Bavarian State Ministry of Sciences, Research and the Arts in order to coordinate the co-operations between Bavarian and Indian Universities. Currently Bavarian and Indian higher educational institutions maintain more than 35 co-operation agreements.
- BayIND maintains a broad range of contacts to Ministries, Governmental Institutions, Chambers of Commerce, Universities and Research Facilities, etc.
- ISWA cooperates in several R&D-projects with National Metallurgical Laboratory, Kolkata; Institute of Environmental Management and Studies, Jamshedpur and Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission - Institute of Advanced Studies, Kolkata.
- In the field of Education and Research ISWA cooperates with the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) in Mumbai and Chennai.
